Etsy Front Page!

I know that not many of you are Etsy sellers, but is a BIG deal to get on the front page!  Someone in Etsy-world picks treasuries they think are good enough, and you get front page exposure!  Unfortunately, they don't let you know...wish I could have seen it live.  However, I got on to print some orders off and noticed I had a crazy amount of "hearts" for the chevron letter & shop favorites, so I investigated...front page starting at 11am CST this morning (Sunday)-so exciting!!

Here's the treasury--

well, just a screen shot from my computer--best I could do (notice on the last tab I had to google how to do a screen shot-ha!)  Here is the link.

I only have a few letters left, so if you want one, snatch it up!  I can always order the letters, but they'll be $25 instead of $15.

Yay!

Letters No More

I'm so sad to say that due to supply issues, I have to discontinue the fabric letters--breaks my heart!!  I do have quite a few letters left (especially W), so let me know if you want one ASAP because once they are gone, that's it!  You can visit my Etsy shop to see what your fabric options are, and to order one.  Make sure to see if the letter you want is still available before ordering! I love them so!

Letters & Yogurt

Well, I've been a little behind in the blogging department--it's been a busy month I guess, but I'm rebounding!  Tootledoo Tuesdays will be back, and I'll update more than once a week :)

One thing I've been doing a lot of lately is the Set of 3 Fabric Letters--here are a few of them...

Both of these sets are for weddings--such a fun idea!  I think the top set is going to hang on their chairs at the reception--I'm hoping for some pics!

This set is for a little girl's room--love the fabrics together!!

For any of y'all reading who are in Jonesboro, AR (my hometown), I am going to be doing "Art Culture" for a friends new yogurt store, Local Culture

He has a fun week planned, including Art Culture on Tuesday June 7, Youth Culture on Wednesday, Pop Culture on Thursday, and Family Culture on Friday and Saturday--we'll be out front from 1-8pm on Tuesday the 7th--come by and check out all the great vendors and get some yogurt!  I plan on having LOTS while outside in the BLAZING heat we are already having down South!

Have a great weekend!!  Thought I'd add a sweet little face to make your day!

April Special!

Hello everyone!  I've been a bad updater this week--got sick, had a garage sale (last one ever--it's in writing now so it has to be true-ha!), needless to say our house has been crazy!

The April Special is a good one--$2 off all Fabric Letters!  These are BY FAR my most popular thing in the Etsy store, they are so versatile!  Throughout the month, I'm gonna post fun ways to use them, so be on the lookout!

Also, if y'all buy one, or just want to, leave me a comment or email me and let me know what you would do with yours--I'm always looking for ideas!!!  While you're at it, let me know if there are any color combinations or patterns that you would want that I don't have listed.  I can always do custom ones if you don't see what you're looking for, I get them all the time!

This one has been REALLY popular lately--thanks to my high school friend Lauren for the suggestion!!

Hope nobody feel for any crazy jokes on Friday!  Happy Sunday night!

New Etsy Store Listings---and Potential Giveaway!

So, I'm pretty sure this is one of my favorite things I've made in a while!  I needed something to put on our kitchen table (that we eat 3 meals a day on....with a 2 year old...and pretty soon an infant)--needless to say it needed to be no fuss and easy to clean!

It looks so great on my table, my husband actually likes it, and it's pretty kid-proof!  I have several listings in the Etsy shop for various sizes, and I can do custom sizes.

I also added a few new letter styles...

green & cream zig zag

owl-hoot hoot!

and orange with white polka dots--for all you UT fans (Texas or Tennessee), or if you just like orange!

I'm also gonna run a little contest (if you can call it that?)--when we get to 100 followers, I'm gonna give away a $50 gift certificate!  So, if you don't follow, do so now (I mean, don't you want to keep up with new stuff?!)!  Share my blog with your friends to get them too...the quicker the better!  I'm running a similar campaign on my Facebook page, so follow that too to get in on that giveaway!

Hope everyone had a great weekend...ours was full of birthday cake and bouncy things for our sweet little boy!

A Sweet Little Nursery & Some Swell Swag

I have a lot lined up today, with some surprises at the end, so keep reading!!

First up we have an adorable little girl's nursery.  It's so fun to do something girly since so far all I deal with are boys at my house!  The fabric her momma picked out is SO cute, it will definitely grow up well with her!

These bumper pads are corded with the pink tulle like the skirt, and they have big pink bows for the ties! SO cute!!

The skirt is ruffled, and we added tulle underneath it to give it a little extra "pouf".  The skirt can be moved up higher on the crib springs to let the tulle peek out, but it looks so good here pooled on the floor!  I did a velcro attachment on these instead of ties, and I think it works much better!  It will definitely be easier to move the skirt up when the mattress has to be moved down.

Katy asked for a skirt for her changing table to hide all of the mess underneath, and i think this turned out so great!  We did matching bows to attach it to the table, and the front is in 2 pieces so it can be moved or tied back out the they way to easily access everything!

This sweet little monogrammed pillow completes the room!  It looks so good on her rocker!  Thanks  Katy for letting me make little Scarlett's nursery!  I had so much fun, and I can't wait to see her!

On the same subject, a friend of ours so sweetly volunteered to paint a canvas to put above Hogan's bed, even though she is due with her own baby in just about 8 weeks!   It definitely makes his room, I love it so much!

She has a cute blog of her own (The Chipper Chickie), and I'm sure she would love to paint something for any of you reading!  (You may want to give her a couple of months to have little Maggie and adjust!)   You can contact her through her blog or email me/comment on the blog and I can get you her email address.

Lastly, Celeste over at Swell Swag is hosting a giveaway for one of my fabric letters!  All you have to do is comment on HER blog about which of my products you like the best to enter!  You can earn additional entries by following her blog and my blog!  Maybe you can pick my latest addition....

And for the surprise....

Starting in March, I am going to have a new special every month!  You can hear about it first on the blog or on my Facebook page, so make sure you are following the blog and are a fan of the Facebook page to find out about them!  To kick things off, I am offering free shipping through the end of February at the Etsy store!  Just enter the coupon code BLOGREADER at checkout to redeem!

I think that finally wraps things up--Happy Presidents Day!!

Fabric Letters

I realized I haven't posted many pictures of the Fabric-Covered Letters, so here they are...

They are all so cute, and look great anywhere!  Our "W" (the houndstooth one) is hanging on the wall in the den.  They can be done in any fabric, not just these seen here-just let me know what you are trying to match and I will find something!

My Etsy store has individual listings for all of these at--

At just $20, they would make a great Christmas present, even if just for yourself!

Etsy Shop!

My Etsy shop is finally up and running!  Everybody check it out, let me know what you think, add the link to your favorite websites!  I will be adding new stuff to it all the time, and I have a new addition to it that's not listed here-fabric letters!  I will be adding more in different fabrics, but if there is something you want just email me and I can make whatever you want-I have quite a stockpile of fabric!  Hopefully y'all had a great weekend!
